Breakfast: Bran muffin (I make these at home, with soy milk instead of water, apple sauce instead of sugar, and added dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds). Tall Starbucks latte with soymilk instead of regular milk.
Lunch: Leftovers (chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent that I made myself with sour cream instead of whipped (double) cream so it would have less fat). A pear that was ripe and delicious.
Supper: One veggie patty (like a hamburger, but not) with homemade babganoush (roasted eggplant, garlic, tahini paste and parsley). It looked like such a small prtion and I was sure it wouldn’t fill me up, but it did.
Drinks: Two gin (Hendrick’s) and tonics.
Observations: Looks like I could have had more vegetables…

Oh you clearly have more patience in the kitchen that I. Fair play to you!

Ooh, a food diary sounds like a great idea. I am trying to improve my diet and eat more fruit and veg so I might well copy you!

I love puttering about the kitchen, so I don’t mind cooking and baking at all!
